Eternal Perfumery

Centered around the scent ‘K23’ in the novel Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins, I created the brand Eternal, with each product an extension of this scent and the philosophies found in the novel.

To tell the Eternal story, I came up with two characters, Harold & Clemence.

Harold is looking to reconnect with his wife after retirement.

One day, Harold stumbles upon the Eternal Marketing Set.

It is a call to lovers, something Harold resonates with.

It is advertising an event at the Eternal storefront, a jazz soiree where lovers can share their stories while exploring the Eternal product line.

Harold calls up Clemence immediately to make it a date!

When they arrive, Clemence can smell Eternal from outside!

The Eternal scent has a base note of beet pollen. Which creates petrichor and geosmin, the chemicals that arise from the ground when it rains.

Humans are more sensitive to this scent than sharks are to blood in water!

It is paired with an androgynous jasmine, making it a gender-neutral scent to be sold in pairs and shared between lovers.

Jasmine is often found in both men’s and women’s perfumes.

Harold & Clemence step inside, dancing to Jazz and listening to other couples share their love stories.

The Eternal storefront and product mockups were all 3D rendered in Adobe Dimensions.

After socializing and dancing, Harold is ready to drop some money on Clemence!

All Eternal products are sealed with a kiss.

Illustrated in Procreate.

After purchasing the entire product line (of course),

Harold realizes the true essence of the Eternal brand, how the products are merely a tool for connection & experience.
